Devon Training Hub (DCEPN)

The aim of Devon Training Hub (DTH) is to support the delivery of a workforce capable of meeting the needs of a local population’s health and improve clinical outcomes. This will be achieved through the recruitment of new staff into General Practice; the retention of existing staff through development and up skilling and development of new roles within the health community.

Devon Training Hub (DTH) is born through, supported and directed by, the GP Provider networks: Sentinel, Haytor Health, Exeter Primary Care, and Devon Health (SHED), as well as Devon LPC. Representatives from each of the five organisations comprise the steering group of the Devon Training Hub (DTH) . The Hub  provides training, education and workforce support across the county of Devon and covers all of the practices in the County of Devon, and extends to other healthcare providers such as pharmacies, care homes, hospices, dental practices and community based services. Anyone who provides healthcare services in Devon may become a member of the Hub.
