Sentinel is part of the growing Social Enterprise network, having recently achieved the Social Enterprise Mark. For us, this means that the organisation has passed a number of tests. These are designed to assess how the constitution works and what benefit the community will receive as a result of Sentinel becoming a Social Enterprise Mark organisation.
Being part of the Social Enterprise Network enhances our reputation while also demonstrating to commissioners and the community the benefits of using Sentinel. This is a hugely positive step forward for Sentinel and follows in the footsteps of several organisations dealing with similar issues, including Devon Doctors.
Additional information can be found at socialenterprisemark.org.uk.
We are also part of the Plymouth Social Enterprise Network. For more information, please visit their website, Facebook page, LinkedIn group, or follow them on Twitter. The network opens up a range of new possibilities and different ways of working, as well as providing access to networking and industry events for organisations in similar sectors.
